Service Description

Treasure Coast Pottery offers an outlet for creativity in a peaceful and supportive environment with a well-structured program that encourages skill development while nurturing the artist within. Classes are held in our fully equipped studio limited to a maximum of 9 students for the beginner through intermediate, ages 16 or older. Registrants receive 3 hours of instruction on Tuesdays and an additional 3 hours of Open Studio per week. That's 18 hours of instruction and 18 hours of Open Studio. Clay must be purchased from the studio and includes glazes and 2 firings for pieces measuring up to 12 inches. Tools are necessary and a starter set is gifted to the new student. Students must bring a lap towel and an apron. Open Studio Schedule: Thursday afternoons, 12-3 pm. All work must be completed within the timeframe of the class structure. The first Open Studio is 9/12 and the last Open Studio is 10/17. Cancellation Policy TCP reserves the right to cancel, combine, or reschedule classes in order to adjust for enrollment. Six is the minimum number of students needed to run a class. If we must cancel due to insufficient enrollment, all registered participants will be informed and given the opportunity to register for another class. If participants do not want to transfer, a full refund will be given. NO REFUNDS AFTER CLASSES BEGIN Cancellations 2 weeks before start of session will be refunded minus a $50.00 registration fee. There is an extra cost for pieces measuring larger than 12 inches. In the event of severe weather or unforeseen incidents, classes and open studio time will be made up when possible.
