Service Description

All materials, glaze and firing included. Free forming Coil-built Vases & Planters with clay. These are great for orchids! They love to attach to the pot and one can leave holes to make the piece airy and orchid friendly by using a satin finish and leaving the interior raw clay. All participants will have the chance to explore various decorative techniques using coils. These unique coils will be curled, twisted and folded. Sizes and shapes will vary depending on how coils are stacked on top of one another. Coiled Pottery can be used decorative or around the house inside and out for plants and storage. Once projects are completed, they will be dried, bisque fired and glazed by TCP staff and then glaze fired. All participants will be able to choose a glaze color of choice and work will be ready to collect 3-4 weeks following the class and students will be notified via email when work is ready for pick up. Youth ages 10 plus are welcome with a paid adult.
