Festive Holiday Ornaments

Service Description

This is a laid-back, 2-hour class for students with or without clay experience for Youth and Adults. Youth under 14 are welcome with paid adult supervision. Cookie cutters will be provided however demonstrations will be done for ornaments in images and we welcome you to bring your very own ideas and we will try to help you accomplish them! Students are provided with clay and may roll out a sheet of clay to make as many ornaments as they can in this 2-hour session with time built in to paint them! Pieces will be hand-built from slabs and surface decoration added along with carving, embossing and painting. The instructor will help you succeed. We will learn some basics while creating together and just having some clay-time fun! These pieces look great on your Christmas Tree and also make great gifts. Successful outcomes are not guaranteed but the instructor makes every effort to teach best practices so things can make it through the kiln firings. Items will be glazed by the studio and will be ready 2-3 weeks after the class.
