6-Week Hand-Building Pottery Course Join Cathleen, a clay artist with over 20 years of experience, for a hands-on, creative journey into the world of hand-building pottery. Whether you are brand new to clay or ready to refine your technique, this course offers the perfect mix of skill-building, inspiration, and artistic freedom. Through guided projects and personalized instruction, you’ll gain confidence working with slabs, coils, and molds—learning how to turn simple shapes into expressive, functional art. ________________________________________ What You’ll Learn: We’ll start with foundational forms and gradually move into projects that build both horizontal and vertical construction skills. The first few weeks focus on developing solid technique and independence; later lessons encourage creative exploration with Cathleen’s support and feedback. ________________________________________ Course Includes: • Duration: 6 weeks with maximum of 6 students • Total Time: 36 hours (18 instruction + 18 open studio) for $350 — a fantastic value!
