
Free-forming trays/vessels w/botanicals

Service Description
Free forming organic leaf vessels from soft slabs of clay. Youth welcome with paid adult supervision. Participants are encouraged to bring in botanicals to create a decorative and organic platter, soup ladle, tray/dish. Sizes and shapes will vary and be informed from the leaf/flower impressed into the clay. This is a fun, easy introductory project geared to the beginner and the creative that wants to be introduced to this fun medium. Once projects are completed, they will be dried, bisque fired and glazed by TCP staff and then glaze fired. All participants will be able to choose a glaze color of choice. Bring a bottled water and hand towel. All other materials provided. Clay, bisque fire, glaze and glaze firing included. Students return in approximately 3 weeks to pick up their completed work. Students will be notified when work is ready for pick up, or you may contact the studio after 3 weeks for an update.
