River Bowls Class with Cathleen

Service Description

All New Class! No experience necessary! We use a hump mold to create a boulder river with a pop of black clay coils. We emphasize best practices utilizing different tools, vocabulary and how to apply it to clay. Skills learned are the proper use of a slab roller, texture matts and rollers, making coils and using a hump mold. Students select their glaze choice of Amber or Clear, and their pieces will be glazed by studio staff. Students return in approximately 3 weeks to pick up their finished artwork. Clay, glaze and firing included. Class requires a minimum of students to run and will be rescheduled if we have low enrollment. Please note that sometimes pieces crack in the kiln, but we make every effort for successful outcomes for all your work. Cancellations receive a 50% refund or postponement to a later class, if cancelled 48 hours prior to the beginning of the first class.
