Service Description

Private Tray/Dish Pottery Event Hosted by Theresa for 7 guests (4 adults & 3 Youth) 4 Adults @ $75 pp & 3 Youth @ $60 pp. This fun and engaging private event begins with creating a tray, dish, or platter using textured slabs and hump molds. Participants will build a horizontal form from start to finish using soft slabs of clay. We’ll also explore adding decorative appliqués and feet to elevate each piece. Throughout the session, we emphasize best studio practices, introduce essential pottery vocabulary, and demonstrate how to confidently use a variety of clay tools. In this creative and joyful class, each guest will select their own decorative style—abstract, compositional, or completely personal—allowing everyone to express their individuality with guided support and instruction. We look forward to creating with you! Students select their glaze choice, and their pieces will be glazed by studio staff. Work will be ready to collect in approximately 3 weeks. Clay, glaze and firing included. Please note that sometimes pieces crack in the kiln, but we make every effort for successful outcomes for all your work and please read our cancellation policy on the website.
