Youth After-School Studio Time

Service Description

This is an after-school studio project-oriented class for youth wishing to create and have some fun time with clay. Classes meet weekly. We start this exploratory class with basics from pinch pots, platters, bowls, holiday-themed projects like snowmen, tree ornaments, animal-themed ornaments, and just a lot of different and fun projects which students learn and build upon skills. Every level of skill is welcome. The cost is $45 per youth. Parents are welcome to join in for the same rate. Students must register to return to glaze their pieces in a second class. If they choose not to return to paint the work, the staff will glaze it and call when it's completed. If students wish to book a 4-week block of classes when they meet, please call and to book at the discounted rate of $165 per participant for 4 sessions. Cancellation policy: Cancellations receive a 50% refund or postponement to a later class if canceled 48 hours prior to the beginning of the first class. Sometimes things break in the kiln, but the staff makes every effort to guide students for a successful build.
