Members-Only Colored Porcelain Workshop TCP Members Only — Please register here to participate! We’re going to have some fun experimenting with Laguna Colored Porcelain, both on and off the wheel. Demonstrations will include techniques for combining, layering, and working with colored porcelain to create beautiful effects. Colored Porcelain Purchase Each participant is required to purchase one 5-lb. package of Laguna Colored Porcelain for $45. Yes — colored porcelain really does cost that much for five pounds! Please Zelle $48.15 to treasurecoastpottery@gmail.com and include the following in the memo: Porcelain Clay + your color choice I will be placing our clay order on Tuesday, September 8, so please register and submit payment before then to ensure your clay is included. The Fun Part — We Share! The plan is for everyone who wishes to share portions of their colored porcelain, giving each participant the opportunity to work with five different colors rather than just one. Sharing is completely optional — if you prefer to keep your entire 5-lb. package, you absolutely may. If you are sharing, I will be sure I have a good amount of each color, and you need not specify a choice. A black clay body and brown clay body will also be available for purchase for anyone who would like to introduce some beautiful neutral tones into their work. Members supply their own white clay to use alongside the colored porcelain. This should be a wonderfully creative day of experimenting, sharing ideas, and discovering what these gorgeous colored porcelain bodies can do. I’m really looking forward to seeing what everyone creates! Oh, if anyone has an old egg slicer they wish to donate to the studio, we can slice the color clay with it!
