STUDIO POLICY

Refund/Cancellation policy

Refunds, Cancellations & Rescheduling

Because our classes require advance preparation, materials, and instructor scheduling, the following policies apply:

Payments & Fees

A convenience/processing fee applies to class and workshop purchases and will be clearly disclosed at checkout. This fee is non-refundable. Membership purchases do not incur additional fees.

Multi-Week Classes (6-Week Series)

  • No refunds are issued once classes begin.

  • 6-week studio classes are non-refundable within 8 days prior to the first class.

  • Refunds requested before the 8-day cutoff will be issued in full, less booking fees.

  • Purchased spots may be transferred to friends or family at no charge or postponed to a later session, subject to availability.

If you need to reschedule within the refundable period, please email treasurecoastpottery@gmail.com.

Single-Day Classes & Workshops (including Try It Wheel)

  • Reschedule requests must be made at least 48 hours prior to the start of class.

  • Cancellations made the day of class and no-shows are not eligible for refunds or rescheduling.

  • Because single-day classes require dedicated instructors and equipment, missed attendance directly impacts staffing.

Attendance Responsibility

It is the student’s responsibility to attend scheduled classes.
No refunds, credits, or make-ups are issued for missed classes, including absences due to illness. While we may attempt to accommodate a make-up when possible, this is not guaranteed.

Weather, Emergencies & Studio-Initiated Changes

If a class is cancelled due to circumstances outside of our control (including severe weather or unforeseen incidents), enrolled students will be rescheduled to a later date or refunded.

Treasure Coast Pottery reserves the right to cancel, combine, or reschedule classes due to enrollment needs. Classes require a minimum number of students to run. If a class is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, registered students will be notified and given the option to transfer or receive a refund.

Memberships

Memberships are non-refundable and must be purchased online. Membership approval is at the sole discretion of ownership. Prospective members are encouraged to schedule a studio visit prior to purchase. One-year memberships must be made in person at the studio.
