Becoming a member of Treasure Coast Pottery means growing your skills and creative connections in a welcoming studio environment—fully equipped with the tools, space, and supplies needed to bring your ideas to life.
Studio members enjoy demonstrations led by the owner, an instructor, or a visiting artist—our way of saying thank you for being part of the Treasure Coast Pottery community.

Memberships at Treasure Coast Pottery are designed for artists who enjoy working in a shared studio environment alongside a supportive community of like-minded makers.
Studio Access & Amenities
Members enjoy access to a fully equipped pottery studio, including:

A wide range of hand-building tools and equipment
These resources support both wheel-throwing and hand-building artists at all levels.
Community & Learning

Monthly demonstrations led by the studio owner, instructors, or experienced members

A supportive, respectful studio culture focused on creativity and shared learning
Clay & Glazes

TCP offers a variety of clay bodies (no outside clay permitted)

Clay purchases include two kiln firings: one bisque firing and one glaze firing

Oversized pieces are subject to an additional firing fee

Dipping glazes are provided in 5–7 gallon buckets for member use
Member Studio Hours
Effective January 2026:

Monday/Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM

Tuesday/Thursday Saturday/Sunday 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Kiln Safety
Kilns are fired outside of member hours. For health and safety reasons, members may not be present in the studio while kilns are firing. Even if you have key-code access, please do not enter the studio after hours. Thank you for your cooperation.
Gallery Opportunities

Members may sell work in the front-end gallery

TCP retains a 25% commission on gallery sales

Members may participate in one studio-sponsored exhibition

Afterward, artists are encouraged to join the St. Lucie Cultural Alliance for additional exhibition opportunities

Membership Guidelines
By joining Treasure Coast Pottery, members agree to the following:

Members must have prior studio experience or gain experience through TCP classes

Completion of a 6-week class or workshop and a studio orientation is required

Members must sign a liability waiver

Members receive designated shelf space for personal use

All tools, equipment, clay, and work must be labeled properly
-
Members may only use equipment designated for member use

Members must clean up after themselves and follow studio etiquette

No production pottery is permitted
-
Members may not operate kilns or enter the kiln area
-
Respectful conversation is expected; contentious topics (politics, religion, etc.) should be kept outside the studio

Unclaimed work: Items left at the studio more than 30 days after notification will be considered abandoned and removed

Volunteering is not required — come, create, and enjoy the space
Membership is granted at the sole discretion of ownership and may be revoked at any time.
