Georgia O’Keeffe–Inspired Flowers — Acrylic Painting Workshop $60 per person Minimum 4 students No painting experience necessary Discover the beauty of flowers through bold shapes, flowing lines, and expressive color in this three-hour acrylic painting workshop inspired by the floral paintings of Georgia O’Keeffe. Master of Fine Arts instructor Jimena Roman will lead students through an approachable, step-by-step painting process. Students will learn how to observe the shapes within a flower, create a simple enlarged composition, mix harmonious colors, and use acrylic paint to build depth and dimension. The emphasis will be on inspiration rather than exact imitation. Each student will create an original floral painting while exploring O’Keeffe’s dramatic close-up viewpoint and her graceful use of shape and color. This intimate, small-group workshop is perfect for beginners and experienced painters alike. Come enjoy a few relaxing hours of painting, creative exploration, and personal expression. All painting materials are included. Students will leave with a completed acrylic painting ready to display. A minimum of four registrations is required for the class to run.
