🏺 Homeschool Pottery Classes — Wheel & Hand-Building Ages 7–17 | Wheel for Ages 13+ | No Experience Needed Join artist and instructor Cathleen Sullivan for a hands-on pottery experience designed especially for homeschool students! In a fun, supportive studio setting, students explore both hand-building and wheel-throwing techniques while learning the fundamentals of working with clay. Class Format: -- Format: 1.5-hour (up to 2 hours) of guided sessions -- Projects: Students will complete 3 unique hand-building projects over the first 3 weeks. After a break to allow for kiln firing, students return for a glaze session to finish their creations week 5. Parents may drop off or wait in the gallery during class while the children learn Step Up for Students Policy: Treasure Coast Pottery is Step Up certified for Ceramics and Painting. As a small independent studio, we’re unable to wait for Step Up reimbursement — parents must pay the studio directly at registration and then submit for reimbursement through Step Up. An itemized invoice will be provided on the first day of class. Homeschool sessions are privately booked. Parents coordinate a group of four to six students, and once your group is set, we’ll schedule your class time. Special Needs Policy: While we are experienced working with students with special needs, we are not certified.
