The Tabletop Totem Project — 2-Day Hand-Building Workshop $125 | All materials included Create a whimsical, story-rich ceramic totem in this two-day workshop. Students will build a sculptural piece using slab and hand-building techniques, stacking forms like animals, leaves, and geometric elements into a balanced vertical composition. Learn construction, joining, surface design, and finishing while exploring creativity and personal expression. This is a moderately advanced project due to multi-part assembly, but step-by-step guidance is provided. Some clay experience recommended; adventurous beginners welcome. All materials included — clay, tools, glazing, and firing. Finished pieces will be glazed by staff and ready for pickup after firing. Class size is limited for individual instruction.
