Hand-Built Butter Bell Workshop With Ceramic Artist Gabriela Ramos Create a beautiful and functional ceramic butter bell in this 2½-hour hand-building workshop at Treasure Coast Pottery. Under the guidance of ceramic artist Gabriela Ramos, students will construct a two-piece butter bell designed to keep butter soft, fresh and ready to serve. Using slab-building and hand-forming techniques, participants will create the outer vessel, fitted inner bell and decorative handle. Gabriela will also demonstrate ways to personalize the surface through carved lines, impressed patterns, texture and raised appliqué. Each student will be encouraged to develop an original design while learning how to carefully measure, fit and refine the separate components. No previous pottery experience is necessary. All clay, materials, glazing and kiln firings are included. Finished pieces will be glazed and fired by staff and available for pickup after completion. Please read cancellation policy.
